Magnicidio plans again

President Maduro addressed supporters today in downtown Caracas and asked them to strengthen the “civic-military union” to fight against “fascist” that according to him are enacting a coup d’état against him.

He also reiterated his long running denunciation of supposed plans by the opposition to assassinate him: “now they are looking for gunmen. I ask people in the barrios to be on guard. They [the opposition] are looking for young people to pay them to go out and kill. They are looking for sicarios to kill me.”
