More than 13 million internet psychological operations against Maduro

Recently politically rehabilitated public television presenter Mario Silva claims that in two years more than 13,700,000 “internet psychological operations” have been generated against president Maduro.

Silva did not specify how the data was collected or what exactly is to be understood as an “internet psychological operation.” The count was made, according to Silva, by fellow Venezolana de Television presenter Larissa Costa.

The count represents a sharp increase, according to Silva and Costa, from the 9,450,000 “operations” generated from 1998 to 2013 against Chávez. Silva commented that this increase amounts to a “discredit campaign against the Venezuelan government and especially against president Nicolás Maduro. In two years the attack has been brutal [bestial],” he emphasized.
